Police Identify Murder Victim in South Dallas

Police have released the identity of a murder victim who was found dead near an American Fresh Produce warehouse in South Dallas on Saturday morning.

Police responded to a welfare call regarding a body near the warehouse exit gate located at 2410 Logan Street at approximately 6:06 a.m. on Saturday when they found the victim.

Responding officers found the murder victim, who was described as possibly a white or Latin male, unresponsive. 

Dallas Fire-Rescue responded to the scene and pronounced the victim dead from homicidal violence.

Dallas police said the motives and circumstances surrounding the murder are currently being investigated.  

According to the DPD Beat, the victim did not have any identification on him, so they worked to identify him through fingerprint analysis. 

According to CBS 11 News, authorities identified the victim as Jose De La Rosa Ducuara, a 37-year-old male. Authorities did not release a specific cause of death, but Dallas Fire-Rescue pronounced the victim dead from homicidal violence.

Dallas Police have not identified any suspect in connection to the death.
