Federal and local law enforcement agencies conducted a coordinated enforcement at an adult bookstore on Harry Hines Boulevard in Dallas on Friday morning.
The Dallas Police Department confirmed that multiple agencies participated but declined to specify the nature of the investigation.
The coordinated enforcement at the Paris Adult Book Store marks an unusual show of force involving federal agencies such as Homeland Security and the IRS, alongside local police. Such multi-agency operations typically signal serious criminal investigations beyond routine vice enforcement.
Dallas Police Chief David Comeaux appeared at the scene in the 11100 block of Harry Hines Boulevard. His presence, alongside vice officers and federal agents, suggests the operation’s significance.
Sky footage captured law enforcement vehicles surrounding the establishment on Friday morning. Officers from multiple agencies were observed entering and exiting the building.
The department maintained tight control over event-related information.
“As is standard practice, law enforcement agencies do not comment on ongoing investigations. Additional information will be released when it becomes appropriate,” officials said in a statement.
Police have not disclosed whether anyone was arrested during the operation. The investigation remains active, with detectives continuing their work at the scene throughout Friday.
