Crunch Fitness announced Monday the upcoming openings of two new Crunch 3.0 gyms in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex — one in Garland and one in Fort Worth — as part of its continued expansion across North Texas.
The facilities, each over 35,000 square feet and representing investments of $5 million to $12 million, are scheduled to open by the end of 2026, per the April 27 press release. Presales are now active at discounted founding-member rates. The gyms will be operated by Southwest Fitness Holdings LLC, a subsidiary of CR Fitness Holdings.
Crunch Garland will be located at 825 West Centerville Road in Garland.
Crunch Golden Triangle will be located at 10948 Park Vista Blvd. in Fort Worth.
Both facilities incorporate the brand’s new Crunch 3.0 design, which includes expanded strength and functional training areas, top-quality cardio equipment, personal training, group fitness studios, hot yoga, Ride cycling classes, Olympic lifting platforms, HIITZone training with indoor turf, and premium recovery amenities.
“Opening Crunch Golden Triangle and Crunch Garland are exciting steps in our continued growth across Texas,” said Tony Scrimale, CEO of CR Fitness Holdings, in the company’s announcement. “These Crunch 3.0 locations take everything our members love about Crunch to the next level — with premium amenities, the latest equipment, and a fun, welcoming atmosphere that caters to everyone.”
Southwest Fitness Holdings currently operates 12 Crunch gyms in the DFW area and is on track to reach 18 locations by the end of 2026. Each new club is expected to create more than 70 career opportunities in roles ranging from personal training and group fitness to sales and operations.
The announcement reflects broader momentum for the Crunch brand in Texas. CR Fitness Holdings, backed by North Castle Partners and Sixth Street, serves over one million members nationwide and is on track to operate 110 locations this year. Crunch Fitness as a whole serves 3.5 million members across more than 550 gyms worldwide.
Prospective members can visit CrunchGarland.com or CrunchGoldenTriangle.com to secure memberships starting at $9.99 per month with $0 enrollment fees during the founding period.
The first 500 founding members at each location will receive additional perks, including a free t-shirt and training discounts, according to the press release.
The new gyms align with DFW’s population growth and demand for fitness options in suburban and developing areas. Garland and Fort Worth have seen significant residential and commercial expansion in recent years, positioning the locations for strong membership potential.
Crunch was ranked No. 2 in the fitness category and No. 20 overall in Entrepreneur’s Franchise 500 this year, up from No. 32 previously. The company has also appeared on the Inc. 5000 list of America’s fastest-growing companies.
