Pudu Robotics, a global leader in commercial service robotics, officially inaugurated its new U.S. headquarters in Dallas as part of its strategic expansion in the Americas.
The company announced its April 23 opening in a press release on April 27, stating that the Dallas facility will enhance regional capabilities, support customer operations, and drive long-term growth across North and South America.
Pudu Robotics specializes in service robots for use in restaurants, hotels, offices, and retail environments, performing tasks such as food delivery, cleaning, and customer assistance. The new headquarters will serve as a hub for sales, technical support, training, and localized development tailored to the U.S. market.
“This new U.S. headquarters marks a significant milestone for Pudu Robotics as we deepen our commitment to the American market,” a company spokesperson said in the official release. The move comes amid growing demand for automation solutions in the hospitality and service industries.
Dallas was selected for its central location, robust logistics network, and business-friendly environment within the DFW metroplex. The facility will initially focus on distribution, customer service, and regional operations, with plans for further investment in the coming years.
Pudu Robotics has expanded rapidly worldwide in recent years, deploying thousands of robots across more than 60 countries. The Dallas headquarters represents the company’s largest investment to date in the Western Hemisphere.
Local economic development officials welcomed the announcement, noting that the project will bring high-tech jobs and strengthen North Texas’ reputation as a hub for innovative technology companies.
The company did not disclose the exact number of initial employees or the total investment amount in the announcement.
Dallas-Fort Worth continues to attract corporate relocations at a record pace. Between 2018 and 2024, the metro area gained 100 corporate headquarters moves, the highest of any U.S. region, as The Dallas Express reported previously, and added 11 net interstate or international relocations in 2025 alone, according to a recent CBRE report. Recent arrivals include KFC U.S. (Plano), Public Storage (Frisco), and Care.com (Dallas Uptown), as companies cite Texas’ business-friendly policies, no state income tax, and central location.
