The Dallas Express is hosting a timely discussion on the future of American healthcare, bringing together leading voices in medicine, policy, and advocacy.

The event, “MAHA and the Future of American Healthcare,” will take place Monday, October 6, from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. at 1231 Dragon Street in the Dallas Design District. Doors open at 6:00 p.m., with free parking available.

Guests will enjoy complimentary cocktails and hors d’oeuvres while engaging in an evening of ideas, networking, and conversation about the innovations and policies shaping healthcare in the United States. Tickets are $15 per person and tax-deductible as The Dallas Express is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit.

Distinguished Panelists

  • Dr. Kat Lindley – A board-certified family physician based in Brock, Texas, Lindley is president and co-founder of the Global Health Project and a senior fellow at the Independent Medical Alliance. Active in health policy debates since 2017, she champions community-based medical decision-making and has spoken widely on global regulation and healthcare freedom.

  • David Mansdoerfer – Former Deputy Assistant Secretary at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, Mansdoerfer brings more than 15 years of experience shaping healthcare policy at the federal, state, and local levels. Now Managing Director of DPM & Associates and an adjunct professor at Pepperdine University, he focuses on patient-first reforms and public health strategy.

  • Jackie Schlegel – Founder of Texans for Medical Freedom, Schlegel is one of the state’s most visible advocates for medical privacy and parental rights. Her activism began while raising a child with profound medical needs and navigating complex healthcare systems. She has led successful grassroots campaigns opposing legislation seen as limiting informed consent and medical freedom in Texas.
