Dallas Police Issue Silver Alert For Missing 71-Year-Old Man In White Rock Area

Dallas police are searching for 71-year-old Ponos Senat, who vanished early Monday morning from the White Rock area.

The critical missing person alert comes as authorities seek public assistance in locating the man who disappeared without explanation.

Senat was last seen early Monday morning at approximately 4:30 a.m. in the 9000 block of White Rock Trail. He was traveling on foot in an unknown direction. Shortly before noon, the Texas Department of Public Safety issued a Silver Alert for  Senat.

The missing man stands 6 feet tall and weighs 300 pounds. He has gray hair and brown eyes.

Senat wore a dark polo shirt with a dark jacket when he disappeared. He also had on black pants and black Timberland-style boots.

Police have not disclosed why Senat’s disappearance triggered a critical missing person designation. The classification typically indicates concerns for the person’s safety or well-being.
