Glenn Minnis | Jul 11, 2021

After signing a letter of intent to play at Clarendon College, Rockwall senior catcher/outfielder Daniel Ramirez seems empowered knowing he didn’t succed alone.

“I am excited to announce that I have committed to Clarendon College to further my athletic and academic career,” Ramirez posted on Twitter.  “I would like to thank God, my family, and coaches for getting me where I’m at today.”

Ramirez isn’t the only one feeling the good vibes.

“We’re so proud of Daniel Ramirez,” reads a post on the Clubhouse Academy Facebook page. “Keep working hard. We’re always going to be here for you.”

As for putting Rockwall in his rearview mirror, Ramirez said he’ll always have the memories.

On the Yellowjackets’ Twitter page, he lists sophomore year playoffs and staying in hotels as his favorite memory.

When recalling Rockwall Coach Stephen Rose, Ramirez says his favorite quote is “get your motor running.”
