The Dallas Express welcomes Jerry Reynolds, longtime host of the nationally syndicated Car Pro Show, to its growing lineup of trusted voices for North Texas readers.
Listeners know Reynolds as “The Car Pro,” a straight-talking Texas voice who has spent decades helping drivers understand the real cost and value of the vehicles they buy, sell, lease, finance, trade, repair, and keep on the road.
His columns for The Dallas Express will focus on practical automotive issues that matter to North Texas readers, including vehicle reviews, market trends, dealership issues, recalls, consumer questions, and the rising costs American drivers face.
A Trusted Texas Voice For Drivers
The Car Pro Show began in 2001 on WBAP Radio in Dallas-Fort Worth. The program now airs on 141 radio stations across 40 states.
Reynolds also delivers Automotive News with Jerry Reynolds the Car Pro, a daily automotive news feature on 396 radio stations nationwide.
“This growth is a testament to the trust listeners have placed in us for 25 years this September,” Reynolds said in a CarPro release. “Our mission has always been simple: help consumers navigate one of the largest purchases they’ll ever make and give them honest, straightforward information they can use.”
Before his radio career, Reynolds owned and operated dealerships in Texas and Oklahoma, including Prestige Ford, which became the highest-volume Ford dealership in Texas. He served as the first two-time chairman of the Ford National Dealer Council, earned Ford’s Chairman’s Award 10 times for customer satisfaction, and won USA Today Dealer of the Year twice.
Reynolds joined the Texas Radio Hall of Fame as part of its 2025 class.
Growing The Dallas Express Lineup
The Dallas Express has added several new voices and platforms as the publication expands its reach across news, commentary, business, culture, consumer coverage, and sports.
The publication recently announced that longtime radio host Mark Davis will contribute columns and video commentary beginning in July. DXSN, The Dallas Express’ sports network, continues to expand the company’s coverage of North Texas sports and local athletes.
Reynolds brings The Dallas Express something few newsrooms can offer: practical automotive insight from one of the country’s most experienced and recognizable consumer voices.
For readers, that means direct access to a Texas-based expert who spent decades inside the industry and built a career helping Americans make smarter decisions on the road and at the dealership.
