The United States is offering a reward of up to $10 million for information about key leaders of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), the U.S. State Department announced Friday through its Rewards for Justice program.

The announcement seeks information about senior figures connected to the IRGC and its component branches.

“These individuals command and direct various elements of the IRGC, which plans, organizes, and executes terrorism around the world,” the State Department said in the announcement.

The IRGC is part of Iran’s official military and plays a central role in Iran’s use of terrorism as a tool of state policy, according to the State Department. The organization has also created, supported, and directed other terrorist groups responsible for attacks targeting Americans and U.S. facilities.

The United States designated the IRGC, including the IRGC-Qods Force, as a Foreign Terrorist Organization in April 2019.

Officials are seeking information on several senior Iranian figures, including Mojtaba Khamenei, identified in the announcement as Iran’s supreme leader. As previously reported by The Dallas Express, Iranian officials elevated Khamenei to the role earlier this month following the death of his father during the ongoing conflict.

Other individuals listed include:

  • Ali Asghar Hejazi, deputy chief of staff in the Supreme Leader’s office
  • Maj. Gen. Yahya Rahim Safavi, military adviser to the supreme leader
  • Ali Larijani, adviser to the supreme leader and secretary of the Supreme National Security Council
  • Brig. Gen. Eskandar Momeni, Iran’s interior minister
  • Esmail Khatib, minister of intelligence and security

The announcement also lists four additional roles without naming specific individuals: the secretary of the defense council, an adviser to the supreme leader, the military office chief of the supreme leader’s office, and the IRGC commander.

The Rewards for Justice program said individuals who provide information could be eligible for a financial reward and potential relocation assistance.

The program has also promoted the effort on social media, warning in a post on X that the IRGC “targets Iranians at home and individuals abroad with its violent attacks” while encouraging people to submit tips about the group.
