The Las Colinas Country Club is set to host the 11th Annual “Golf Fore Life” Tournament benefitting Thrive Women’s Clinic. Hit the green on May 2 from 10:00 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. for a golf day, starting with an open driving range and lunch. At noon, get ready for a shotgun start to the foursome scramble tournament. The event will conclude with dinner provided in part by 44 Farms beef products and awards. Participants will also hear from former Dallas Cowboy defensive tackle Chad Hennings, who will serve as guest speaker. For interested players, fees start with a $75 super ticket that includes two mulligans and two alcohol drink tickets. Individual tournament tickets include a player gift package, lunch, non-alcoholic drinks, snacks, and dinner. For groups of four, a $2,000 package is available, offering lunch, gift packages, non-alcoholic beverages, snacks, and dinner for each player. Sponsorship packages are also available and start at $2,500. All proceeds will go to benefit Thrive Women’s Clinic. “It is pretty difficult to find businesses that are not fearful of sponsoring an anti-abortion fundraising event like Golf Fore Life,” tournament founder Oscar Salazar told The Dallas Express. “We are grateful for all of our sponsors and the players! It’s a fun time!” Thrive Women’s Clinic has provided women with an alternative to elective abortions for over 39 years. Per its website, the clinic’s mission is to extend Christ-like love compassionately and respectfully, valuing family and empowering women and their partners to choose life. There are currently four Thrive Women’s Clinics servicing Dallas County. For more information on locations and services, visit thrivewomensclinic.com. To register for the “Golf Fore Life” tournament, visit vinekeepers.org/golf or call (214) 343-9263.
