A man was left in critical condition on Sunday, January 16, after he was shot while sitting in his car, as reported by The Dallas Morning News.
Dallas police discovered the man in a parking lot in the 5800 block of Bonnie View Road near Simpson Stuart Road in southeast Oak Cliff around 11 p.m.
Investigators believe the victim was in his car when someone walked up, opened the side door, and fired a gun at him.
Police did not identify the victim, and no suspects have been identified at this time.
