Wichita opened the scoring with a four-run second inning and added 12 more throughout the contest, including a five-run third inning and another four runs in the sixth. Thomas Sagesse and Liam Hicks homered to help close the gap for Frisco, but David Banuelos’s six-RBI night helped Wichita maintain its lead.
Noteworthy: RoughRiders’ starter Ryan Garcia allowed eight runs in two and two-thirds innings to raise his ERA to 9.64 on the season.
