Formerly a Bank of America campus, a North Texas building is being freshly renovated for new tenants.

Renovations are underway at Galatyn Commons C, a roughly 215,000-square-foot office building that belonged to Bank of America until May 2023, The Dallas Morning News reported.

The five-story office building is located at 2340 Performance Dr. in Richardson, just off U.S. Highway 75 and Galatyn Parkway.

Renovations to the office building include the addition of a WiFi collaboration area, new modern seating areas, a new elevator landing, and an upper-level seating area, according to the project’s description provided by Cushman & Wakefield, the Chicago-based commercial real estate firm marketing the office building.

According to Cushman & Wakefield, this is the first time the office building, which is usually 100% leased, has been vacant in over two years. This presents a unique opportunity for new tenants to join “a highly improved and amenitized Class A office space, located in the heart of the Dallas Metroplex,” the firm says on its website.

Renovations have already been completed on three of the four office buildings in Galatyn Commons, with Building C being the last space to receive a modern makeover.

Typical floor space in Building C spans approximately 44,000 square feet and includes large efficient floorplates with a ceiling height of over 9 feet.

Cushman & Wakefield is currently marketing the space to both local and out-of-state companies with the option to lease full floors or the entire building. Companies that have already signed long-term leases at the office campus include Goldman Sachs and CBRE Group, as previously reported by The Dallas Express.

Renovations to Building C are expected to be completed by December 2023, per DMN.

The Dallas Express reached out to Chris Taylor, executive managing director at Cushman & Wakefield, for more information about plans for the building and its vacant office space but had not heard back at the time of publishing.
