The Dallas Morning News is reporting that a “well-known Dallas estate built for an Italian count nearly a century ago was the most expensive home to hit the market in Texas last month. The asking price — a cool $47 million.”
“The Crespi Estate, 5619 Walnut Hill Lane, has long been considered North Texas’ most expensive home. The sprawling manor was originally built in 1938 for Count Pio Crespi, a wealthy Italian cotton baron who came to Texas with his eyes on expanding the family business,” DMN reported.
