DFW Home to Texas’ Priciest Home Listings

Housing demand in The Lone Star State is growing at a swift pace, with some of the most expensive properties for sale right here in North Texas.

The Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex claimed five of the top 10 most expensive listings in Texas during the month of June, according to the Houston Association of Realtors, as reported by The Dallas Morning News.

The priciest home listing to hit the North Texas market in June has an asking price of $20.5 million and is located at 6920 Vassar Ave. in the University Park neighborhood of Dallas.

Built in 1959 in the exclusive Volk Estates, the more than 14,000-square-foot home features six bedrooms, 10 bathrooms, a bevy of top-of-the-line amenities, and an idyllic outdoor space with parterres, rose gardens, oak trees, and a nine-hole putting green, according to a description of the property listing.

The home was restored in 2012 by Spitzmiller & Norris, the award-winning architecture firm behind the Blackberry Farm resort in Tennessee. Erin Mathews of Allie Beth Allman & Associates is the listing agent for the property.

Next on the list is an $11.3 million home located at 4412 Lorraine Ave. in Highland Park.

The third most expensive property to hit the market in North Texas is located at 6200 Pleasant Run Rd. in Colleyville.

The nearly 9,000-square-foot home includes an open floorplan with six bedrooms, 10 baths, a media room, a home office, a three-car garage, and a chef’s kitchen with high-end appliances.

The home is located in the Grapevine-Colleyville Independent School District, with the elementary and middle school conveniently down the street. Randy White of Randy White Real Estate Services is the listing agent for the Colleyville property.

The next most expensive listing in North Texas can be found at 859 S. White Chapel Blvd. in Southlake.

The 8,265-square-foot home, set upon nearly 6 acres of land, is currently listed for $9.2 million. It features incredible views, a gated driveway, an outside pool area, and a floor plan with five bedrooms and nine bathrooms, according to the property description. Elizabeth Gleason of Rogers Healy Real Estate is the listing agent.

The fifth home in North Texas to make the top 10 listings in June is a three-story, 7,665-square-foot property at 3607 Euclid Ave. in Highland Park, with a listing price of just under $9 million.
