Nick Solis, a veteran nurse, was looking for ways to navigate his health issues when the inspiration struck to get into IV therapy, a health treatment that has become steadily more popular in recent years.

“The mission is to help people proactively take charge of their health in an affordable and convenient way,” said Solis, the owner of Hello Hydration IV, to The Dallas Express.

With the help of his wife, Cindy, the business launched in April 2019. Solis joked that she is the “brains” while he is the “beauty” of the operation.

Nick explained that it was a “tough year” in the beginning because no one trusted new hydration companies at the start of the business. Then, as they began their journey to register their company with the Better Business Bureau to gain more recognition, the pandemic hit, and they were forced to close temporarily.

Eventually, the Solises discovered a silver lining in those uncertain times.

“Fast-forwarding to the end of the initial lockdown, immune system support and overall health and wellness became our primary services,” said Nick.

When clients call for an initial appointment, Hello Hydration IV gets a general idea of the client’s needs through a phone consultation. The staff goes over medical history and screens the client to verify if the person is a good candidate.

“We try our best to help as many people as possible because the mission of the business, after all, is to empower people to take charge of their health.”

Hello Hydration IV fluids give clients a boost of substances that naturally occur in the body, including vitamins, minerals, amino acids, and antioxidants. Some of their therapies are also infused with common, over-the-counter medications like pain relievers or anti-inflammatories.

Cindy added that there are instances when people will call with unusual inquiries, such as stronger medications that Hello Hydration does not offer. The staff also has to be cautious when issuing IV therapies to individuals with health conditions to avoid the possibility of an adverse reaction.

Hello Hydration IV ensures that its clients are in great hands. What sets them apart is that they utilize licensed nurses to provide the safest experience possible. The nurses are trained to ensure clients are not given too many or too few fluids.

One of the many perks of Hello Hydration is that the business is 100% mobile. They go to homes, offices, gyms, locker rooms, and anywhere convenient for the client. Most IV treatments are completed in an hour or less, making it easy to go about the rest of your day.

Their most popular IV therapy, “The Cowboy,” was created after a client asked which treatment Nick used, wanting to test it out for himself, and Nick said the rest is history.

“That’s our number one seller. It’s the most comprehensive drip that we offer,” said Nick. “The Cowboy addresses immune system support, liver detoxification, mood stabilization, nerve pain improvement, and several other benefits.”

Hello Hydration also provides services for workout recovery, anti-aging, and hangovers. Some of the therapies require a routine follow-up, but typically clients can choose when they want their next service.

Their IV therapies appear to be catching on as word of mouth travels throughout the community.

For instance, Hello Hydration had a client who was experiencing anxiety and health issues. Nick declared that the team managed to rejuvenate his body so much that his physiological age is now lower than his chronological age.

Before the IV treatments, the then-38-year-old had the body of a 52-year-old. After receiving the services, the 41-year-old has the physiological age of a 38-year-old.

The client’s executive concierge medicine provider now utilizes Hello Hydration IV to help other patients after witnessing the extraordinary results.

One thing that the IV therapy company wants to make clear is that actively prioritizing good health is crucial.

“Investing in your health is one of the more important investments that we never prioritize until it’s too late,” said Nick. “Often we take our health for granted but doing something proactively on a consistent basis to make sure your health is optimized is something that we encourage.”
