All 38 U.S. representative posts are up for grabs in Texas in the forthcoming election. Subject to two-year terms, The Dallas Express identified the key representative territories that most impact North Texas among the offices.
With Colin Allred, who is running for U.S. senate, Michael Burgess and Kay Granger not seeking re-election for U.S. House Districts 32, 26, and 12 respectively, a handful of seats in the greater Dallas-Fort Worth area have attracted a bevy of candidates from both sides of the aisle.
Here’s a look at who has been approved by the Texas Secretary of State to appear on the ballot for the Republican and Democratic parties for the primary election on March 5. Early voting is set to kick off on February 20.
