Fifteen of Texas’ 31 state senator seats will appear on the general election ballot in November, including six in the greater Dallas-Fort Worth area.

While most North Texas incumbents are seeking re-election, State Senator Drew Spring from District 30 is not, leaving crowded Republican and Democratic primary elections ahead for prospective candidates in March. The District 30 territory includes portions of Collin and Denton counties, in addition to Archer, Clay, Cooke, Erath, Grayson, Jack, Montague, Palo Pinto, Parker, Wichita, Wise, and Young counties.

Here’s a look at who has been approved by the Texas Secretary of State to appear on the ballot for the Republican and Democratic parties for the primary election when it comes to seats with an impact on North Texas. The primary election is set for March 5, with early voting slated to kick off on February 20.

The state senators in North Texas are listed first, with those remaining seats across the state listed after.

Candidates are listed in alphabetical order by last name where applicable.
