The construction of a four-lane divided road is part of the Trinity Boulevard Phase 2 improvement project in Fort Worth, scheduled to begin in early December.

According to a Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation filing, the Phase 2 component also includes a traffic signal, multi-use trails, sidewalks, utility adjustments, street and trail lighting, irrigation, landscaping, storm drain, and a waterline.

The anticipated completion date is April 2025, with an estimated construction cost of $556,240.

Phase 2 of the improvement project extends from Salado Trail to Thames Trail, according to the project page.

The Trinity Boulevard improvement plan is a $30.6 million package that is part of the Texas Clear Lanes initiative to enhance mobility across Texas, including Loop 820.

Phase 1, which encompasses Loop 820 to Salado Trail, is scheduled to be completed by October 2024.

“This large City project is comprehensive and involves major improvements along Trinity Boulevard,” per the Trinity Boulevard Improvements page.

Kimley-Horn & Associates is the design firm listed on the state filing for the Phase 2 component.
