Patriot Mobile, the Grapevine-based self-described “Christian conservative” wireless provider, is condemning the alleged censorship of a right-leaning think tank.

The America First Policy Institute (AFPI) announced in a statement on Wednesday that Instagram suspended then proceeded to delete the institute’s account, alleging this move is part of a “larger pattern in recent years of Big Tech censoring those in opposition to their liberal beliefs.”

“After posting graphics highlighting the radical Left’s duplicity and egregious double standards relating to Hunter Biden’s failure to honor a Congressional subpoena, this morning the America First Policy Institute’s Instagram account was suspended and deleted by the leader in Big Tech censorship, Meta,” said Brooke Rollins, AFPI president and CEO.

“Once again, when the Left is confronted with the facts, they do everything in their power to silence and censor those with whom they disagree, including removing their opponents from the ballot,” Rollins added.

In a news release sent to The Dallas Express, Patriot Mobile denounced the move as “a distressing echo of the Soviet era’s suppression of free expression.”

“Patriot Mobile is so committed to our First Amendment protections of free speech, that it is one of our four pillars of giving,” said Leigh Wambsganss, chief communications officer for Patriot Mobile.

“The act of silencing AFPI on Instagram illuminates a concerning trend in silencing voices that do not conform to extreme left media moguls and corporate elites,” Wambsganss continued. “It is especially concerning in a Presidential election year.”

The company said in the statement that it encourages “patriots” to stand against “the encroachment of fascist, Marxist, socialist, and communist ideologies that threaten the very essence of freedom.”
