With the weekend quickly approaching, here are some of the best events and eats you can find in the Metroplex.

  1. Walk This Way

Running until July 14, The Dallas Holocaust and Human Rights Museum presents Walk This Way: Footwear from the Stuart Weitzman Collection of Historic Shoes. Visitors to the museum will see over 100 pairs of shoes spanning over two centuries from the collection of legendary shoe designer Stuart Weitzman and businesswoman Jane Gershon Weitzman. With International Women’s Day on Friday, this weekend is a great one to visit the exhibit, where you will find shoes worn by some of the most inspirational women in recent history.

  1. Jurassic Quest

Enjoy this interactive experience that presents the history of dinosaurs, complete with a fossil dig and live dinosaur shows. The exhibit runs Friday, Saturday, and Sunday at Fair Park.

  1. Romeo and Juliet

Check out this classic Shakespeare production at the Winspear Opera House. Only tickets for the 7:30 p.m. Saturday show remain.
