Operation Kindness is spreading holiday cheer with its annual Dog Photos with Santa event. North Texas’ leading life-saving shelter is inviting local area canines, along with their human friends, to come and meet Santa and leave with a memorable souvenir photo captured by a professional photographer.

The special event will be held outdoors in compliance with all CDC guidelines. There will be two options available to capture your pup’s unique photos with Santa. For twenty dollars, families will receive ten pictures delivered on a flash drive, or for fifteen dollars, families can take pictures using their own device.

“Photos with Santa is a fun holiday tradition, and we’re excited to host our version for pets while bringing people together for a little extra goodwill and cheer…We’re grateful for the generosity and look forward to combining an awesome event with a great cause to benefit homeless animals,” said Ed Jamison, chief executive officer at Operation Kindness and honorary Santa during the holidays.

Community events such as “Dog Photos with Santa” assist the shelter’s forty-five-year mission of providing care, life-saving medical treatments, food, shelter, and other necessities to homeless animals prior to adoption.

Families can bring their dogs to “Dog Photos with Santa” on Saturday, December 11, and on Saturday, December 18 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at 3201 Earhart Drive in Carrollton.
