There are a few days left to enjoy the festivities of pumpkin patches with your family. Here is a list of the best pumpkin patches in the Dallas-Fort Worth area to create everlasting fall memories for the year of 2021.
Blase Pumpkin Patch is located at 1232 East Fork Drive in Rockwall. According to The Dallas Socials, this facility offers a petting zoo, hayride, and a hot dog all included with the admission price on Saturday and Sunday. Monday through Friday of this week, the admission price includes the petting zoo, hayride, and a small pumpkin.
Blase’s website mentions that they have been in business for ten years. Reservations are needed for the pumpkin patch. In the summer, they offer guests the opportunity to pick their own blueberries. The petting zoo area includes a llama, sheep, a donkey, and pigs.
There is a hayride, hay maze, a walking trail in the woods with Spookley the Square Pumpkin storyboards, and guests can purchase pumpkins and bales of straw.

The Pumpkin Patch in Flower Mound is located at 5100 Cross Timbers Road in Flower Mound. The Dallas Socials mentions that guests pay for the parking, and the activities are free. This pumpkin patch has pumpkins, corn stalks, and straw bales available for purchase.
The website for this patch states that reservations need to be made ahead of time, and they are located on Double Oak Ranch. They offer cushaw squash, butternut squash, winter crookneck, blue Hokkaido, cinderella pumpkins, and jack-o-lantern pumpkins. They also provide wagons to use on the premises, to haul the pumpkins, or to give the children a free ride.
Included on this ranch is a hay bale maze, hayrides, pumpkin patch train, playground, and on Saturday and Sunday, there are vendors selling kettle corn, corn dogs, and shaved ice.

The Gentle Zoo Pumpkin Patch is located at 12600 FM2932 in Forney. According to Art and Seek, this facility has a playground, maze, animal room, tractor train ride, and a feeding area for the animals.

Hall’s Pumpkin Patch is located at 3420 Hall Johnson Road in Grapevine. This is a cash-only business. Their website states that Hall Farm was established in 1929. This fall, for their pumpkin patch, they have a corn maze, hayrides, kettle corn, and hot cider.

St. James Pumpkin Patch is located at 9845 McCree Road in Dallas. According to The Dallas Socials, St. James Episcopal Church and Southwest-based farmers have been working together to organize and run this event. The money they earn goes towards St. James Student Ministries, “helping young people grow in faith through local outreach and national and international mission trips.”
The website for St. James states that “St. James hosted its first pumpkin patch in 1997 to benefit the parish’s youth activities. Since then, the patch has grown to fully fund the student ministries. Beyond our church, the patch has become a special place for the community. Many area families come back year after year to purchase pumpkins and take photographs of children, grandchildren, and even pets.”

Autumn at the Arboretum is located at 8525 Garland Road in Dallas. The Dallas Socials said that this pumpkin show “highlights the nationally acclaimed Pumpkin Village featuring four 20-foot-tall decorated pumpkin houses and creative displays fashioned from more than 90,000 pumpkins, gourds, and squash.”
According to their website, Bugtopia comes to the Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden this year. This is the sixteenth year of pumpkin shows for the arboretum. “Our signature display will come alive with larger-than-life insect topiaries, fascinatingly bugged-out pumpkin houses, and, of course, a maze for younger visitors,” the website explains.

DFW Child mentions the Dallas Farmers Market to be a place where individuals can purchase pumpkins. The market is located at 1010 South Pearl Expressway in Dallas. They stated that “more than 25 varieties of pumpkins and gourds – of all shapes, sizes, and colors – rolling in from Floydada, Texas,” are at this market. Local vendors, live music, and crafts for kids are also available.

Pumpkin Nights at Howell Farms is located at 4016 West Division Street in Arlington. DFW Child explains that this pumpkin show has a lighted path with “5,000 hand-carved real and synthetic pumpkins: 10-foot-tall jack-o-lanterns, the world’s largest pumpkin guitar, a flying 40-foot handmade dragon, a life-size pumpkin pirate ship,” and also, “a wall of monster-size pumpkins.” The wall of monster-size pumpkins was created by Alex Wer who is an award-winning artist, also known as The Pumpkin Geek.
