Daystar Television Network has announced the death of its Founder, President, and CEO, Marcus Lamb.

Daystar made the announcement on its website, stating that the Dallas-area televangelist died on Tuesday, November 30, at the age of 64.

The network wrote on its website that Lamb has “gone home to be with his heavenly father.” The network stated in the announcement that Lamb left behind a legacy of fiercely loving the lord and the people of the world and, above all, his family.

“It is our prayer that his life has inspired you to dare to answer God’s call on your life, to believe that with God truly anything is possible and that if you let God write your adventure, you’ll touch the world,” Daystar wrote on its website.

The network urged everyone not to forget Lamb’s devotion to the great commission.

“His heart’s passion was that all may come to know Jesus as Lord and Savior and experience the transformational power of the Holy Spirit,” the network added.

The network did not reveal what led to his death, but according to The Dallas Morning News, Lamb’s relatives have said on broadcasts he suffered from diabetes and had been battling with COVID-19. His wife also revealed was hospitalized when his oxygen levels dropped.

The network stated that Lamb’s family asks the public to respect their privacy at this time as they grieve the difficult loss and they wish to express their deep love and gratitude to everyone who has been praying for Lamb during his battle with his failing health.

Lamb is survived by his wife Joni and his three children Jonathan, Rachel, and Rebecca.
