Drive-through coffee chain Dutch Bros announced on Wednesday that a popular twist to its drink selection — Shine — will return to the menu.
“Shine adds a unique, swirling luster that makes any iced drink sparkle,” reads the press release.
“When we first released Shine for a limited time in 2018, our customers were stoked and gave it so much love,” said Charles Swindler, senior vice president of field engagement. “Since then, we’ve always wanted to bring back Shine and thought this was the perfect time. So get a Dutch drink and make it Shine!”
Dutch Bros recommends adding “a bit of dazzle” to Vanilla Cold Brew, Double Rainbro Soda, Midnight Rebel energy drink, Tropical Green Tea, or Electric Berry Lemonade. Shine “shows up best” in iced drinks.
Through the end of the year, Dutch Bros continues to offer holiday beverages, including the Hazelnut Truffle Mocha, Zero Sugar Added Peppermint Bark Mocha, Snow Cap Freeze, Candy Cane Trio, and Merry Mischief Rebel.
“Celebrating the season with a variety of innovative drinks is what we do best,” chief marketing officer Tana Davila said in a press release. “This year’s lineup is a nod to all the seasonal favorites we love but with a Dutch Bros twist! From peppermint to green apple to festive holiday sprinks, we’ve amped up our offerings to have even more flavor and fun!”
Founded in 1992 in Grants Pass, Oregon, Dutch Bros operates over 800 locations in 16 states, including over 50 in North Texas. The chain offers Dutch Bros Rebel energy drinks, nitrogen-infused cold brew coffee, smoothies, freezes, and teas. Its menu also includes muffin tops and granola bars.
