Omni Dallas Hotel has officially kicked off the holiday season with festive fun, including the only ice rink in Downtown Dallas.

Beginning Friday, November 22, and running through January 5, 2025, Omni Dallas Hotel is offering city residents a chance to hit the ice on the establishment’s iconic Pegasus Lawn. Known as Ice, Lights, and City Nights, the holiday event offers more than just skating.

  • Stop by the Hot Chocolate Bar: Dallas might not be the coldest climate in the country, but it can still get chilly. To help warm yourself up after enjoying the rink, stop by the hot cocoa stations on the Pegasus Lawn.
  • Say Hello to Santa: While the rink is open seven days a week, Kris Kringle is only scheduled to appear every Saturday and Sunday. Word is, Santa is even open to taking pictures.
  • Hop Aboard the Elf Express: Tour the hotel via the Elf Express, a small train that will delight children and adults alike.
  • Blitzen’s Bar: If hot chocolate is not your drink of choice, adults can sample a seasonal craft cocktail menu curated by a celebrity mixologist.
  • Enjoy the Lights: Every evening at 7:30 p.m., guests at Omni Dallas will be treated to a specialty light show featuring over four miles of LED lights draped around the hotel. And, of course, the giant lit-up Pegasus, the original Dallas icon that stood atop the Magnolia building in Dallas from 1934 to 1999, will be front and center at the Omni Dallas light show.
  • Ice Skating Rink: The rink will be open daily from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. While tickets can be purchased in person, quantities are limited, so you might want to reserve them in advance. Admission prices start at $18, but hotel guests can receive two tickets when they book the Ice & Night room offer. Tickets include one hour of ice time and skate rentals.
