In Dallas, chocolatiers are all for one and one for all today, October 28, for celebrating National Chocolate Day.

Kate Weiser Chocolates has locations at Trinity Groves and NorthPark, as well as in Houston and Fort Worth. The chocolatier offers unique, hand-painted chocolates and inventive flavors of chocolate bars, as well as other delicious treats.

The store is offering a promotion just in time for Halloween and National Chocolate Day. With the purchase of $50 worth of Halloween merchandise, shoppers will receive a free pumpkin pie candy bar.

Cocoandre, a local gourmet chocolatier owned by a mother-daughter duo, is located in Bishop Arts District. Cocoandre is offering seasonal truffle flavors such as pear ginger, French lavender, and double mocha espresso, as reported in The Dallas Express.

While they do not have any current promotions, Cocoandre is a local business that you can happily justify supporting on National Chocolate Day.

Local craft chocolatier Dude, Sweet Chocolate offers seasonal Halloween menu items, such as an Abby Normal Dark Chocolate Brain Box and Dulce de Leche Sweet Potato Skulls.

The unusually named treat is a human-sized chocolate brain made of 72% Ecuadorian dark chocolate filled with Cocoa Puffs and chubby nuts, making it a giant rocky road brain.

With Halloween just around the corner, October 28 is the perfect time to stock up on all things chocolate in Dallas.

The Dallas Chocolate organization includes a list of leading Dallas chocolatiers, and each year they host the Dallas Chocolate Festival which occurred this year from September 9 to September 11. The founded by Sander Wolf, an information technology professional. Wolf is also the founder of DallasChocolate.org, an organization dedicated to educating people about chocolate.

The Dallas Chocolate Festival brings together some of the area’s best chocolate makers and chocolatiers to showcase the newest delights and innovations of the chocolate industry. Participants offer informative classes on the subjects of tasting and cooking with chocolate.
