The Dallas Express Sports Network is celebrating a 2026 Lone Star Sports Emmy Award nomination for a Cowboys-focused program produced before Dallas Sports Network merged into The Dallas Express Sports Network.
The nominated episode, “Jerry Flipped The Bird – Dak Flipped The Script,” appeared in the Sports Interview/Discussion – Single Program category. The nomination lists Kevin Morrell as producer and Chris Yates as host.
The episode is available on The Dallas Express Sports Network YouTube channel under the title “Jerry Jones Flipped The Bird, Dak Flipped The Script.”
The program covered Cowboys owner Jerry Jones’ $250,000 fine for making an obscene gesture toward Jets fans, a Dak Prescott-Tony Romo comparison, and an appearance by two-time Super Bowl champion Tony Casillas.
The category also includes “The Kick: ’26 FIFA World Cup Draw Behind the Scene” from FC Dallas and “The Panel with Jonah Javad: A Mother’s Day Special” from WFAA, according to the nominee list.
