Suspect Hits Dallas Police Officer with Vehicle, Causes Injury

A police officer in Dallas was struck by a suspect’s car on Sunday, injuring her leg.

The Dallas Police Department arrived at the scene of 1400 Noel Rd around 2:45 a.m. on Sunday, January 16.

The officer was investigating a 911 call when she approached the suspect’s vehicle, unaware that he was sitting inside.

Police said the suspect started the car and headed towards the officer.

Before she could get fully into her police car, the suspect hit her leg that was still outside of the vehicle.

The officer was taken to a hospital, where she is in stable condition.

According to police, the suspect is on the run.

An investigation is ongoing.
