Garland police arrested a fourteen-year-old boy on Monday afternoon in connection to the shooting that left three teenagers dead and another injured.

Garland police did not reveal the teen’s identity because of his age but said they are still looking for a male suspect who drove the vehicle in which he and the 14-year-old fled.

The suspect was arrested just before 4 p.m. on Monday.

As earlier reported by The Dallas Express, the shooting incident took place at the 700 block of West Walnut Street around 7:30 p.m. Sunday, December 26. Three victims were pronounced dead at the scene and a fourth was taken to the hospital.

All four victims of the shooting were teenagers between the ages of fourteen and seventeen, according to FOX 4 News.

Garland police released surveillance footage allegedly showing the fourteen-year-old suspect opening fire inside a Texaco station on Walnut Lane in Garland.

The surveillance reportedly also showed the four victims, who seemed to be together, in front of the store when the suspect came in through the door.

Garland police revealed that two of the victims had come into the store. The Dallas County Medical Examiner later identified one of them as fifteen-year-old Ivan Noyola.

Another victim was also identified as seventeen-year-old Rafael Garcia.

The youngest victim, identified by Garland police, was fourteen-year-old Xavier Gonzales.

According to Garland Police Chief Jeff Bryan, Xavier, who had been in the store ordering tacos for his family, was just in the wrong place at the wrong time.

The fourth victim, and only survivor, was identified as a fifteen-year-old store employee who, according to his boss, started working at the taqueria just last week.

According to The Dallas Morning News, the fifteen-year-old was hospitalized and he remained in stable condition Monday. Authorities have not yet released his identity.
