Hit-and-Run Leaves Person Dead, Fort Worth Police Searching for Vehicle

The Fort Worth Police Department is looking for a vehicle that struck and killed a pedestrian in South Fort Worth on February 13 during a hit-and-run.

In a post made on Twitter, the Fort Worth Police Department said that the incident happened at the intersection of Crowley Road and Steinburg Lane.

The identity of the driver is unknown. However, police described the vehicle involved as a 2012-2018 Pacific blue Volkswagen Tiguan. The Fort Worth Police Department is requesting the public’s help in locating the vehicle and the driver.

Authorities did not release any information about the pedestrian who was killed. The circumstances surrounding the hit-and-run is unknown as officers continue to investigate the case.

The Fort Worth Police Department is asking anyone with information regarding the incident to contact the department via 817-392-4892.
