With more than half of its restaurants in the Lone Star State operating in Dallas-Fort Worth, Salad and Go plans to open even more locations in North Texas.

“Salad and Go has over 40 locations in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, and we’re excited to continue expanding our presence in North Texas,” chief marketing officer Nicole Portwood told The Dallas Express. “Right now, we have plans to open stores in Euless, Fate, and Allen in the coming months. We’re also happy to share that our newest location in Flower Mound … will open on February 12, 2024.”

Salad and Go, a drive-through concept, announced in a news release that it has “aggressive plans” to open nearly a store per week this year.

“2023 was a year of exceptional growth, but 2024 will be a breakout year for Salad and Go,” CEO Charlie Morrison said in the release. “We have the right offering and the right team at the right time. We are at an inflection point in this country where Americans are demanding more from restaurant chains. They shouldn’t have to compromise on fresh, nutritious food that’s also convenient and affordable.”

A “healthy alternative to traditional fast food,” the restaurant specializing in salads offers made-to-order items at under $7.

“In addition to its signature salads, the brand’s menu, curated by Michelin-star trained Chef Daniel Patino, includes wraps and breakfast items as well as hand-crafted lemonades, teas, and hot and cold brew coffee,” according to the release.

Arizona-based Salad and Go operates more than 70 stores in Texas, Portwood said. The restaurant also has locations in Arizona, Oklahoma, and Nevada.

“By 2026, Salad and Go has plans to be in at least five more states — eyeing Georgia, Missouri, Tennessee, Alaska, Kansas, and California,” she said. “This also puts Salad and Go on a path to [more than] 1,000 units across [more than] 10 metro areas by 2030.”

Portwood previously oversaw the “rapid expansion” of Tito’s Handmade Vodka, according to the release.
