Meta’s Facebook Ads Manager showed high disruptions Friday morning, adding to a week of service interruptions across major digital platforms.
Meta’s public business status page listed significant disruptions for Ads Creation and Editing, Ads Delivery, and Ads Reporting in an update viewed shortly after 9 a.m. EST on Friday. Other Meta tools, including Facebook Login, Messenger Platform, WhatsApp Business Platform, Meta Business Suite, Ads Transparency, and Data Transparency, showed no known issues.
The affected tools are part of Facebook Ads Manager, which businesses and advertisers use to create, deliver, and review ad campaigns across Meta platforms.
Users Report Facebook, Instagram Problems
Some Facebook and Instagram users also reported service problems Friday morning, though the scope of the consumer-facing disruption remained unclear.
Outage-tracking services reported issues with Facebook and Instagram, according to CT Insider. Meta had not immediately issued a broader public explanation for the reported user problems.
The status notice reviewed by The Dallas Express applied specifically to Facebook Ads Manager and did not, by itself, confirm a full Facebook or Instagram outage.
Gemini Outage Adds To Tech Reliability Questions
The Meta disruption followed a major Google Gemini outage earlier this week.
Google’s Workspace Status Dashboard said Gemini App in Workspace and Gemini Side Panel customers experienced “Something Went Wrong” errors beginning June 10. The incident lasted 7 hours and 10 minutes, according to Google.
TechRadar reported that some Gemini users saw “error 1076” and “error 1099” messages during the disruption.
The back-to-back disruptions highlight how heavily businesses, advertisers, and consumers rely on major digital platforms for daily communication, marketing, and workflow tools.
