A 2nd Street location has already opened in Dallas, and another store is coming to Frisco in January.

The Dallas location is in Deep Ellum, according to a Business Wire press release, and opened on December 3. The Frisco store will be opening on January 7. Earlier this year, the company opened a store in the Cedar Park neighborhood of Austin.

2nd Street USA is a second-hand clothing store that focuses on unique, “one-of-a-kind pieces” in “premium, second-hand condition,” according to the company’s website.

“2nd STREET Frisco will carry approximately 15,000 items for reuse, including men’s and women’s clothing, handbags, shoes, and accessories,” the press release shared. “Those items will include selections from Japanese designer brands as well as internationally popular luxury brands. The array of items will include selections from designer brands and boutiques in the United States and Europe as well.”

The press release went on to note that North Texas is attracting many new residents from locations such as California, making the region attractive for business expansion.

The 2nd Street chain was founded in Japan in 1996, and the first 2nd Street USA location was opened in California in 2018. The Frisco store will be the chain’s 20th U.S. location, according to the press release.

The Frisco location will be located in The Centre at Preston Ridge, a mall containing more than 115 stores and restaurants. The Dallas store can be found on Main Street in Deep Ellum.

2nd Street is a subsidiary of GEO Holdings, a Japan-based retail business that manages over 2,000 shops, according to the press release. In addition to expanding 2nd Street into the U.S., GEO Holdings has also expanded the store into Taiwan and Malaysia, totaling over 700 locations worldwide.

The press release stated that 2nd Street will continue expanding across the United States. Other store locations can be found in New York, California, and Oregon.
