Dallas police are investigating the murder of a woman found shot to death in a ditch. Just before sunrise on Wednesday, her body was discovered by a driver close by Mountain Creek Lake in West Oak Cliff on Merrifield Drive.
The victim was not carrying any identification, so her identity remains unknown. The Dallas County Medical Examiner’s Office will analyze her fingerprints in an attempt to identify the woman. She was a black female believed to be in her 20s.
Police are seeking surveillance footage to help identify the suspect who killed the victim.
