Obituary for Myra “Jeanene” Pennington

Myra “Jeanene” Pennington, 85, of Dallas, TX passed away June 12, 2021, in Plano, TX. She was born July 27, 1935, to Earl Johnson and Carolyn Johnston in Atlanta, GA.

Jeanene married the love of her life, Jack Pennington, on June 12, 1951, in Atlanta. To this union, three wonderful children were born, Victor, Richard, and Lyric.

Jeanene was an amazing wife, homemaker, and artist. She was involved in the Lady’s Golf Association at Prestonwood Country Club, and President of Pinson Valley Art Association.

She is survived by her loving husband, Jack Pennington; sons, Victor Pennington and Richard Pennington; daughter, Lyric Pennington Boersma; 8 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great-grandchildren.

She will be deeply missed by her family and friends that love her so much.

Service: Friday, June 25th at 2p.m. in Restland Memorial Chapel; reception to follow at Prestonwood Country Club.
