Dallas police arrested three individuals on Sunday in connection with a series of gas station robberies.
According to The Dallas Morning News, officers were dispatched to four robberies in the Oak Cliff area on May 15.
Officers were called to a 7-Eleven located in the 2200 block of South Beckley Avenue in East Oak Cliff when a man with a gun demanded money from the cashier shortly before 4:30 a.m.
Then, just before 5 a.m., police received a robbery call at another 7-Eleven location in the 2900 block of East Ledbetter Drive.
As those two incidents occurred, authorities were alerted that an armed man allegedly ordered an individual to hand over their belongings in the parking lot of a QuikTrip located at the 4700 block of R.L. Thornton Freeway in the Red Bird area.
Officers were then dispatched to a 7-Eleven in the 2200 block of South Zang Boulevard in central Oak Cliff at 5:25 a.m. when a male suspect with a gun allegedly attempted to rob two people in the parking lot.
Authorities reported stopping a gold Mercury Grand Marquis with a canvas top around 6 a.m. The vehicle had three men inside who matched the descriptions of individuals seen in surveillance video from the stores.
Property stolen from the robberies was found inside the vehicle, according to police.
Police said Vernon and Varion Hicks, both 26, and Eriesse Whitehead, 27, were detained in connection with the crimes and face four counts of aggravated robbery.
According to authorities, Whitehead is also accused of illegally possessing a firearm.
The men were being held in a Dallas County jail with no bond as of Sunday.
