Authorities announced on Tuesday that they have arrested three men in connection with the deaths of three individuals reported missing in Parker County earlier this month.

The Parker County Sheriff’s Office, in collaboration with the Texas Rangers, charged Barrett Copeland, 19, Dennis Craig Alexander, 45, and Trin Lawrence McKnight, 27, with capital murder.

The victims, identified as Tiffany Ann Williams, 44, David Dewayne Walker, 42, and Robbie Allen Head, 55, were reported missing on April 21 after disappearing under suspicious circumstances, according to the sheriff’s office.

Sheriff Russ Authier said Williams and Walker were married, and Head was reportedly a tenant in their home. Deputies responded to a home in the 100 block of Myrtle Lane in Granbury on April 21 after a family member reported being unable to contact Williams. An arrest warrant affidavit noted that the family member observed the Ring security doorbell at the residence was missing, raising concerns, as reported by Fox 4 KDFW.

Investigators found that the condition of the home and statements from witnesses indicated the disappearance was suspicious, prompting fears that the trio might be in danger or need medical assistance.

Three days later, remains described as a black male, a white male, and a white female were recovered near a creek along Temple Hall Highway in northern Hood County and sent to the Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office, where they were identified as Walker, Head, and Williams, respectively. All three had injuries consistent with gunshot wounds.

Police developed a lead from a bloody fingerprint found on the driver’s side door of the victims’ vehicle, which led them to arrest McKnight. According to arrest records cited by Fox 4, McKnight was apprehended on Monday at 2 p.m. on Weatherford Highway in Granbury, approximately six miles from the alleged crime scene.

McKnight identified the two other accomplices, telling investigators that he, Alexander, and Copeland planned to rob the victims. He alleged that Alexander held Williams, Walker, and Head at gunpoint while the others searched the residence for drugs and money. He claimed that Alexander shot the victims, and then all three men loaded the bodies into Williams’ car and drove to the creek to dump the bodies.

Police apprehended Alexander and Copeland within hours of McKnight’s arrest. All three suspects are currently held at the Parker County Jail.

Everett Williams, a friend of the victims, told police that Alexander was acquainted with the victims and sometimes stayed at their house, Fox 4 reported.

The investigation remains ongoing.
