Just when everyone starts to break open their piggy banks to make ends meet, one Collin County man has won enough to take the piggy all the way to the market and the bank.
“This summer has been amazing. We’ve already made two lucky guests millionaires. We’re very excited to make our third millionaire tonight. We can’t wait to see the look on their face when we bring them on stage and tell them they’re the newest millionaire,” said Thomas O’Sullivan, the casino’s director of marketing, per Fox 4.
Chandra G. was selected as the third and final winner in Choctaw Casino & Resort’s “3 Months 3 Millionaires” drawing early Sunday morning, reported Fox 4 KDFW.
North Texas residents have been fortunate in this promotion as the three winners of last year’s and this year’s drawings were from North Texas.
Carl Stone of Trenton was the second 2024 overnight millionaire, as previously reported by The Dallas Express, and the first was a 30-year-old woman from North Texas who chose to remain anonymous.
“We are thrilled to bring our 3 Months. 3 Millionaires giveaway back this summer and make three more Rewards Club members millionaires,” said Jeff Penz, Senior Director of Gaming & Hospitality, Choctaw Casino & Resort – Durant, per the casino’s webpage. “These are life-changing moments for our guests, and you could feel the excitement in the casino as we announced our first millionaire of the summer.”
Last year’s winners were Stephanie S. (location not provided), Brittany Juarez from Kaufman, and Rosa Guia from Lancaster. They each took home $1 million, DX reported.
