Cedar Hill High star receiver Xavier Brown will be taking his talents to the University of Connecticut to play for Coach Randy Edsall and the Huskies.
Brown is a 6-1, 169 lb. target and is rated a three-star recruit on Rivals. His commitment to UConn includes declining offers from Kansas, Buffalo, Colorado State and others.
He took to Twitter to announce his decision.
Brown has nice size and great ability on the outside, whether it be turning screen passes into big plays or catching fade routes in traffic. His combination of size, hands, and what he can do after the catch will serve him well at the next level.
The Cedar Hill football team’s twitter page offered a congratulatory post for Brown on his 4th of July decision.
The team was one game away from bringing home the state championship this previous season. Brown and Cedar Hill head coach Carlos Lynn will get one more shot of winning this year.
