Ursuline star goalie Kylie Koeijmans has inked a letter of intent to attend the University of Tulsa.

A two-time TAPPS first-team all-district and all-district Goalkeeper of the Year, as well as an all-state, Koeijmans posted 27 shutouts over her last two seasons in leading Ursuline to a 39-1-2 record.

“I love being the last line of defense and the pressure that comes with it,” said Koeijmans, who was also named Co-Defensive Player of the Year this season. “I enjoy competition and how competitive the sport is coupled with the team aspect of the game.”

Koeijmans, who plans to major in engineering at Tulsa, adds her strategy has always been simple, and centers on trying not to overthink and just playing the game to the best of her ability.

“Thank you so much to family, teammates and coaches who have helped push and motivate me, getting me where I am today,” she said. “I am forever grateful and am going to miss you all so much.”

Koeigmans, who began playing the game when she was just three years old, has also starred for the Dallas Sting club team.
