The American Heart Association’s annual Dallas Heart Walk has revealed its executive committee for the annual event that raises awareness and funds for heart health and stroke prevention.

On Saturday, September 11, the Dallas Heart Walk, the largest heart walk in the U.S., steps off at The Lawn at Reunion Tower. Uniting the community and honoring survivors, the Heart Walk is the culminating event of the Dallas Heart Challenge.

As part of the American Heart Association (AHA), Antonio Carrillo, president and chief executive officer of Arcosa, Inc., has been named the chair for the Dallas Heart Walk.

“The Dallas Heart Walk is a powerful and exciting event that brings us together to make Dallas a healthier, stronger community,” said Carrillo. “Moving more is critical to the physical and mental health of our employees and our community. Carrillo will shepherd the $5.7 million fundraising goal to support the lifesaving work of the AHA.

“Each and every year, the Dallas Heart Walk brings monumental impact to the mission of the AHA through the generosity of our sponsors, donors, and volunteers,” said Chris LaTurno, senior vice president of development of the Dallas Division.
