Fort Worth’s largest community celebration, Mayfest, returns to Trinity Park from Thursday, April 30, through Sunday, May 3.
The four-day festival is expected to draw thousands with live music, carnival rides, festival food, performing arts, and family activities along the Trinity River.
Mayfest remains one of North Texas’ most popular spring events. Organizers describe it as “the biggest celebration of community in Fort Worth,” offering something for all ages across 33 acres in Trinity Park, per the event webpage.

SAVE BY PURCHASING TICKETS IN ADVANCE: Save on your trip to Mayfest by purchasing your tickets online. While tickets are available at the gate, they are $1.00 higher than published ticket prices.
Attendees can enjoy multiple stages of live music, performing arts, a marketplace with more than 100 vendors, pet adoptions, children’s activities, and a variety of food vendors. The event also includes special attractions and opportunities to enjoy the scenic river setting.
Trinity Collaborative, the nonprofit organizer, partners with local businesses and volunteers to produce the festival each year, reported CultureMap Fort Worth. Last year’s event drew large crowds, and organizers anticipate similar or higher attendance in 2026 as the weather warms.
The park location at 2401 University Drive offers easy access from major highways. Free parking is limited, and shuttle services or ride-sharing are encouraged. Attendees should prepare for large crowds, especially Friday through Sunday evenings.
