Forbes released its list of the 400 wealthiest Americans, and 43 (10.75%) of the spots are Texans — with 16 (4%) residing in North Texas.

Fort Worth resident and Walmart heir, Alice Walton, is the wealthiest North Texan, according to the list. Walton takes the 15th spot with a net worth of $55.7 billion.

However, Walton’s net worth dropped more than $12 billion from last year, ending her seven-year run as the wealthiest woman in America (she is now second to Julia Koch and her family).

The second wealthiest North Texan is Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones, who, at No.44 on the list, has a net worth of $16 billion. Jones got a boost from the valuation of the Cowboys, rising 10% from last year, and his majority stake in Frisco-based oil and gas company Comstock Resources.

The third wealthiest North Texan, according to Forbes, is Beal Financial Corporation owner Andrew Beal, who, at No.61, has a net worth of $10.3 billion.

Of the 16 North Texans on the list, Dallas businessman Trevor Rees-Jones sits at No.271 on the list, with a net worth of $4 billion.

Rees-Jones is the founder and chairman of Chief Oil and Gas, whose primary natural gas holdings were developed in Tarrant County, Denton County, and Parker County.

Another notable North Texan on the list is Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban, who finds himself at No.227 with a net worth of $4.6 billion.
