Three-star WR Wilson transfers to state semifinalist Duncanville

John Suayan | Jul 13, 2021

Three-star wide receiver Phaizon Wilson has found a new home in what is known as the “District of Doom,” having left Lancaster for state semifinalist Duncanville.

Wilson’s presence is likely to give the Tigers’ offense another head-turning weapon.

The program compiled a 10-1 record in 2020.

“[Wilson’s] a big time player,” a user posted on the 6A Texas Football forum on April 26. “They were already loaded at WR, he just made that core a whole lot more dangerous.”

Duncanville will be the third school Wilson attends.

As for where he will continue his academic and athletic careers, ESPN reports that he has received offers from Alabama, Arkansas, Auburn, Colorado, and others.
