The 2023 Men’s College World Series is field set.

Eight teams have survived the first two weekends of the NCAA Tournament and have advanced to Omaha, where they will play a double-elimination style tournament until two teams are left. The final two squads will face each other in a best-of-three series for the national championship.

TCU is the only team from the state of Texas still standing after knocking out Indiana State in Fort Worth.

The Demon Deacons have scored 12 runs or more in four of their five NCAA Tournament games, including a 22-5 outburst against Alabama to win the Super Regional and advance to Omaha for the third time.

Stanford won a thrilling winner-take-all battle with Texas in the bottom of the ninth on Monday. The Cardinal thought it had won on a line drive from (name) that some thought went over the fence. Instead, the play resulted in a double, and Stanford scored as a seemingly harmless fly ball that would have been the inning’s final out dropped to the ground between four Longhorn defenders.

LSU (48-15) vs. Tennessee (43-20)

LSU makes its 19th trip to Omaha after eliminating Kentucky in two games. Paul Skenes held the Wildcats to four hits in a 14-0 series-opening win, while a three-run ninth inning helped the Tigers pull away and complete the sweep on Sunday.
