Four of the NFL’s best quarterbacks will face off in the next version of the golf exhibition for a charity known as “The Match.”

Tom Brady of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Aaron Rodgers of the Green Bay Packers will face off against Patrick Mahomes of the Kansas City Chiefs and Josh Allen of the Buffalo Bills. Together, the four quarterbacks have won nine Super Bowls and made 86 playoff appearances.

The 12-hole exhibition match will take place on June 1 at Wynn Las Vegas, the only golf course on the Las Vegas Strip. It will be televised on TNT beginning at 6:30 p.m. ET.

Last November, the course hosted the most recent iteration of The Match, where PGA professionals Brooks Koepka and Bryson DeChambeau faced off in a 12-hole battle. Koepka emerged as the victor.

Mahomes and Allen will each make their first appearances in The Match this June, but Brady and Rodgers have appeared in previous editions.

Rodgers was teamed with DeChambeau in July 2021 and defeated Brady and Phil Mickelson. In May 2020, Brady and Mickelson lost to the pairing of Tiger Woods and Peyton Manning.

The subplots will be plentiful, with both Brady and Rodgers contemplating retirement this NFL offseason. Brady retired from the Buccaneers before changing his mind and deciding to return for his 23rd season. Rodgers returned to the Packers and signed a 3-year, $150 million contract extension.

Mahomes and Allen were opponents in one of the most thrilling postseason games in recent NFL history last season. Mahomes led the Chiefs as they engineered an improbable comeback in the final seconds of regulation to tie the game, then won in overtime over Allen and the Bills in the AFC divisional round.

Like in previous versions of The Match, players will wear a mic during the competition, allowing viewers to hear the conversations they have amongst themselves. The broadcast crew and players will also be able to communicate during the event.

Participating play-by-play announcers and on-course reporters will be announced in due time.

June’s event will be the sixth edition of The Match. According to Turner Sports, the exhibition has raised nearly $33 million for various charitable endeavors and has donated 17 million meals to Feeding America.
