The 2024 Invited Celebrity Classic, presented by Choctaw Casinos & Resorts, will be returning in April to the Las Colinas Country Club, where 40 celebrities will be joining Invited club members and 78 former PGA Tour champions on the course.

The event is an officially sanctioned PGA Tour Champions and Charles Schwab Cup event and will benefit the Momentous Institute, the First Tee Greater Dallas, and the First Tee Fort Worth for the third consecutive year.

Participants are grouped into three tournaments consisting of 54 holes of play: one for the PGA Tour champions, one for celebrities, and one for the 10 amateur club members who were invited after making it through regional and national qualifying events at Invited golf clubs across the country.

Defending champion and former Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo will be returning to the event after completing an impressive comeback over former pro tennis standout Mardy Fish in the final round of last year’s tournament and finishing second in the inaugural event in 2022.

“I am looking forward to the opportunity to defend my title in the 2024 Invited Celebrity Classic presented by Choctaw Casinos & Resorts next April,” Romo said in a press release. “It was an incredible event last year at the Las Colinas Country Club with fantastic competition and electric crowds. Similar to last year, the most exciting thing is the significant charitable impact in our community.”

The Invited Celebrity Classic has raised $500,000 in its first two years and brought an estimated $3 million economic impact to the Dallas area.

General admission is free, but fans can purchase tickets to upgrade to the Choctaw Club skybox on the 18th-hole green. Stockyard Hospitality tickets are also available, which give fans access to the ninth-hole green viewing platform and the Las Colinas Country Club clubhouse ballroom.

Former Texas Rangers catcher Ivan “Pudge” Rodriguez will also participate in the tournament, and more celebrity competitors will be announced as the tournament approaches.
