The Highland Park golf team doubled its pleasure at the recent UIL State golf tournament, walking away with first and third place finishes.
In earning its 22nd state title, the Scots sent two teams to the tourney, with the blue team finishing first and the gold team third. In leading the gold team, Preston Cooper was also crowned individual state champion.
“Scots golf teams took first and third at the UIL 5A Boys State Golf Tournament May 18 in Georgetown,” the school posted on its Twitter page. “It is the fourth consecutive team title for HP and the 22nd overall. Go Scots!”
