Briley Weatherford, a former Hebron high school and Dallas-area native, scored her first college goal in Texas Tech’s 5-0 win over West Texas A&M.
Weatherford was a four-star recruit and considered one of the best center backs in the nation. In high school, she lettered all four years and led her club team to the national tournament three times.
Weatherford debuted with Texas Tech and made an impression in the recent win over West Texas A&M.
With the win, Texas Tech picks up its third win of the season. Macy Schultz also contributed to the scoring, tallying two goals.
